Could I Gave Nipple Trauma?

I breastfed my son for about almost 12 weeks, at 6 weeks old I got a manual breast pump and kept being silly with it like laughing at how it sucks my nipple all the way in (I never had any help so I didn’t know it would damage my breasts) my nipple ended up splitting from it like around the nipple but I continued to breastfeed for a while longer until I couldn’t bear the pain anymore and my nipple was almost hanging off an peeling.
And ever since I stopped breastfeeding my nipples still split on like around a bit of each nipple when my boyfriend touches them (with his fingers or mouth) or have the shower run the water on them they get itchy until I put a bra on. The split that occurs sometimes fully heals within a day or two. So I was wondering does this sound like nipple trauma? Or have my nipples just become really sensitive?
And please I don’t wanna hear about cancer or anything as they don’t match the symptoms as the ones I am talking about happen on occasion not all the time.
