I tried breastfeeding, the pain was unbearable!…
My nipples are cracked,scabby,and sore. I would cry every time I fed him.
Today, I decided to just buy a breast pump until my nipples healed.
So I been pumping two small bottles every hour or two.
He is only 4 days old, but I would rather him on the bottle with my breast milk, then on formula.
I was wondering, How long would it take for my nipples to heal? Would I be able to get him back on my boob once they do?
Also, can I do about three ounces of formula in one bottle, and three ounces of breast milk in another bottles?(If my milk produces three ounces) and feed him both?
Any suggestions/advice would be great!!
