I was given an electric single breast pump, but it doesn’t seem to suction when I put my hand up to it. I don’t know how to fix it so I figured I should buy a new one. I am due in 3 weeks and was wondering what type of breast pump to buy? I have researched only Medela, but I am open to any brand. The Medela breast pumps that I have liked and don’t know which to buy (if I bought Medela) are the single electric Swing Breast Pump, double electric Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump – Shoulder Bag, and the double electric Pump In Style Advanced Breast pump – On-the-Go Tote. I cannot afford the double electric Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump- Metro Bag.
I will be a stay at home mom and want to breast feed but still allow my husband to feed our son when he is home, so I will be mainly breastfeeding and once or twice a day pumping. I know that a lot of times women produce a lot so they need to pump to release the milk-engorged breasts.
Which breast pump brand would be good for me? If Medela, which model would be good for me: the electric single swing; the electric double on-the-go; the electric double shoulder bag?
